Italy, Russia to top visitors’ list to Drinktec 2017
Italy, Russia and Switzerland are expected to top the ranking of countries of origin of visitors to this year’s Drinktec, in Munich, Germany.
Drinktec, is the world’s trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry.
In the ranking, the US is high up in fourth place and China is seventh among the expected visitors.
More than 70,000 trade visitors from more than 180 countries are expected to converge in Munich, Germany for Drinktec 2017, from September 11 to 15.
The event which holds every four years was last held in 2013.
Organisers say, the fair which attracts stakeholders from the beverage industry from all over the world will create an avenue of increased product sales and business networking.
VDMA (German Engineering Federation) Food Processing and packaging Machinery Association, organisers of the fair, said Drinktec, brings together companies large and small and attracts visitors from all business areas. The range of products and services on show perfectly matches the target groups and vice versa.
The organiser said in 2013, Drinktec attracted a 14% increase in visitors’ numbers with a total of about 66,886 trade visitors.
