81-Year-Old Whisky Nigeria pulls Audi Maikori, Asuquo, other A-listers together
It was a gathering of Nigeria’s A-listers in the entertainment, fashion and showbiz on Friday, February 23, at the Jewel Aieda in Lagos, at the unveiling of The Macallan’s masterpiece – The Reach.
Celebrity designer Mai Atafo, celebrity photographer, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, talented musician, Cobhams Asuquo, and distinguished businessmen, were among the roll call.
The event was a glamorous session, drawing not just the elites of the entertainment sector but also influential figures from the business world such as co-founders of Chocolate City Group, Paul Okeugo and Audu Maikori; and CEO, Arzeh Enterprises, Chadi Estaphan.
Mai Atafo graced the unveiling in his signature style, a black three-piece suit from his eponymous ATAFO collection, showing his grace and charm whilst making a statement on the black carpet.
Talented musician, Cobhams Asuquo, treated the audience to a stunning performance encapsulating the night with enchanting notes. His performance set the perfect tone for the unveiling of The Reach — one of the world’s most expensive whiskies.
Nigerian lawyer and Chocolate City Group co-founder, Audu Maikori, also stepped into the event looking dapper in a classic dark suit.
As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to a sensory journey unlike any other, with the whisky-tasting experience being one of the highlights of the night.
The unveiling of The Reach was the absolute delight of the evening, as The Macallan’s oldest whisky expression was unveiled in Africa for the first time.
