Nigerian FinTech Awards 2019: 13 awards up for grab
Winners will emerge in thirteen different award categories in this year’s Nigerian FinTech Awards, organisers of the award have said.
The award, an integral part of the week long Lagos Fintech Week, according to the organisers, will recognize and reward innovation in the use of information technology in the financial industry as well those who have contributed to its success.
A statement signed by chairman of the organizing committee, Dr. Yele Okeremi, informed that the awards will promote the Best Research in Fintech in order to encourage more Fintech companies and technology startups to invest in research as a strategy to deepen products offerings and extend usage beyond our shores. He stated that, the most important award at The Nigerian Fintech Awards would be the Fintech Startup of the Year.
The event is scheduled to hold in April at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Winners will emerge from categories such as; Best Fintech Communications, Best Research in Fintech among others.
The entry deadline is April 5, 2019, while winners will be announced on April 26, 2019 at the Lagos FinTech Week event in Lagos, the organisers noted.
