Wilder warns Breazeale ahead WBC battle

Deontay Wilder.

Mandatory challenger for the WBC heavyweight belt, Dominic Breazeale (19-1, 17 KOs) has been warned to prepare for battle ahead the championship bout.

WBC champion, Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) says he’s going to cripple challenger Dominic Breazeale when the time comes for him to defend his WBC heavyweight title against him in the future.

Breazeale is Wilder’s mandatory challenger, and he’s pushing for his title shot against the unbeaten champion. However, Wilder is looking to defend his World Boxing Council title against former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (26-0, 19 KOs) next on November 10 or November 17.

”We already know that Dominic Breazeale is trying to talk me into fighting him, which is not working,” Wilder said to Fighthype. ”You can’t make me mad, especially with your word unless you physically do something. My mind is already made about the Breazeale fight. When it do happen, I’m going to make sure he brings his son up on the stage to look at the man in the eyes that it going to cripple his daddy,” Wilder said.
