NB dangles millions in cash and other prizes as portal opens for Maltina Teachers Award 2026
Entry has opened with Nationwide reach for submissions for the 2026 edition of the Maltina Teachers Award even as Nigerian Breweries has promised millions in cash and other fantastic prizes for winners.
Entry opened on June 3, 2026, and will run until August 7, 2026, allowing teachers across Nigeria’s public and private secondary schools to compete for top honours.
Regarded as one of Africa’s most robust education rewards systems, the 2026 edition features a high-value reward system designed to recognise both individual excellence and institutional impact.
According to report, first place winner will smile home with; ₦10,000,000, a brand new Honda HR-V, 1-year Maltina supply, overseas training and ₦30,000,000 school infrastructure project.
First place runner-up will be rewarded with ₦5,000,000, and a trophy. A cash prize of ₦3,000,000 and a trophy will go to the second place winner while state champions will get ₦1,000,000 each in addition to recognition plaques.
The initiative organised by the Nigerian Breweries-Felix Ohiwerei Education Trust Fund, reaffirms a long-standing commitment to celebrating educators whose impact extends beyond classrooms into shaping national development outcomes.
