More consumers cast votes ahead CVA 2023
As the 2023 Consumers Value Awards (CVA) draws nearer, an avalanche of consumers are thronging the CVA 2023 portal to vote for their various brands.
According to the organisers, over ten thousand consumers have visited the site to cast votes in fifty-two different categories of brands jostling for recognition as Best Value-For-Money brands.
As of the time of review of the website, the cement category has enjoyed over five hundred consumers votes among the four brands listed in that category, while the Detergent category recorded four hundred and thirty-three votes amongst eight brands listed, and the Toilet Cleaner category has two hundred and ninety-five votes as two brands jostle for the award.
Other categories, such as Sausages, Biscuits and Telecommunications, recorded over three hundred consumer votes.
Speaking on the voting pattern, Akonte Ekine, Chief Executive Officer BrandXchange, said there is growth in the number of visitors and voting. There are more consumers showing interest in the programme and casting votes.
He went further to urge more consumers to visit the site and cast votes in line with the desire of the organizers to have more robust participation through voting. The objective is to have a higher sample population than the first edition, and we are now asking more people to visit the site to vote.
Consumer Satisfaction Index is the the Theme of the second edition of the Consumers’ Value Awards. Regulators from Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and Nigeria Communications Commission will be participating. The voting is ongoing till 31st July 2023 when the portal will be shot down.
The voting according to finding on the site shows that 89% of the votes are within the country while the United States and the United Kingdom contributed about 7% of the total votes.
The event will be on 7th September 2023 at the Ijakadi Hall Isaac John Street.
