Jimi Agbaje losses Lagos governorship bid to Sanwo-Olu
Jimi Agbaje, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos suffered defeat in the race to the Government House, Alausa in last Saturday Governorship election.
He lost to Babajide Sanwo-olu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by 533,304 votes.
Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University and State Returning Officer for Lagos governorship election, said that Sanwo-olu polled 739, 445 votes to defeat Agbaje who scored 206, 141 votes.
