Governor Abiodun commends Airtel’s support to Security
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has commended leading telecoms operator, Airtel Nigeria, for partnering with the Ogun State Security Trust Fund (OSTF) to ensure the safety of lives and property across the State.
Abiodun who was speaking during a courtesy call by Airtel’s Management to his office, thanked the telco for its generous donations of phones and telecoms solutions to the OSTF, noting that the move will not only boost the State’s security architecture but will also enhance the efficiency of the Police and other security operatives in the discharge of their duties.
“Airtel has always demonstrated that it is not just a business, but a business that is committed to touching lives and we thank them for the generous donations to the OSTF,” the governor said.
In his earlier remarks, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting causes that will help create a better and safer society.
