Eleduma felicitates with Olowo of Owo on Igogo Festival

An Abuja based business man and renowned Owo indigene, Gbenga Eleduma, has extended warm felicitations to the Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, on the occasion of 2024 Igogo Festival.

Eleduma describe the Igogo festival as the most celebrated in Owo Kingdom expressing his delight and warm greetings to Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, the traditional chiefs, and all participants in the Igogo festival.

According to the organiser, this year’s edition promises to be a spectacular showcase of rich cultural heritage.

In a statement signed by his media office, he highlighted the festival’s significance as a unique platform for mobilizing Owo sons and daughters, both at home and abroad, to contribute to the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the community and Ondo State at large.

“The Igogo festival has always been a symbol of unity and progress for our people,” he said.

He commended the monarch for introducing innovations to make the festival more captivating, stating: “Our revered monarch has introduced certain innovations this year to make the festival a cynosure of all eyes. The display of our cultural values will not only attract investors but also remind us of our distinct origin as a people.”

Eleduma emphasized the festival’s role in fostering communal understanding, love, and unity, saying: “As we celebrate this year’s Igogo festival, let us remember the importance of living in harmony with one another.

“Let us embrace our diversity and work towards a common goal of prosperity for our community, he noted.”
