Beko arrives Nigeria with top quality home appliances

Europe’s top quality brand, Beko on Tuesday entered Nigeria’s home appliances industry following the launch of its latest range of products to top dealers.
The launch event which took place at D’ Podium international Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos State, saw the display of the new range of products available in Nigerian markets, catering to all customers’ needs in the kitchen.
Speaking at the launch, Beko’s Regional Director of Sub Sahara Africa, Evren Albas, said Beko home appliances are tested and trusted brand to give Nigerian consumers value for their money.
Albas said that, Nigerian consumers will find in Beko home appliances good products and hopes that it will reciprocate its success story in Europe in Nigeria even as he added that, “the brand with its sustainable effort will contribute to the growth of the Nigerian market”.
To enable Beko meet with its distribution demand, it has partnered with a leading provider of integrated supply chain solutions – MDS Logistics, which has a network of 51 distribution centres, in 31 states of Nigeria. Evren Albas, stated that, “More than ever, having the right partner in the country is critical for the longevity of any brand.” He also opined that global companies need to have local integration and adapt their strategy to be tailor-made to the market.
At the launch, Beko showcased their environmentally friendly products as maintaining higher energy efficiency than other brands. These products include their solar refrigerator and chest freezer range of products which run on solar energy. Beko solar products will assist communities where there is no electricity grid yet or those who would like to depend less on the power supply from the grid.
A statement from the company noted that, among the products launched, is an exciting new product called the “CoolBox”, which was launched by Beko for the first time in Africa.
The CoolBox according to the company, is an innovative solution that allows consumers who are not able to benefit from powered refrigerators or freezers, to keep their food fresh. Made from special material and evaporative technology, Beko CoolBox maintains the freshness of food for up to 2 times longer.
