Vision 2032: RCCG holds mega rally to win 40m souls

In line with the biblical injunction that believers should go out and win souls to the kingdom, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Saturday organized a mega rally with the aim of adding 40 million souls to the body of Christ.
Organized by the ushering department of RCCG Region 2 (Overcomers Family), the rally was divided into three groups under the same province, under the church’s Vision 2032 mandate.
Group 1, comprises Lagos Province 8,13,51,56,69,84.95 and 104 at Bariga; group 2, comprises Lagos Province 50,85,87 and 105 at Pen Cinema and group 3, which includes Lagos Province 9, 14 and 106.
The group 3 rally started at Aswani bus stop and ended at LP 14 Head Quarter, Mushin/Isolo road, beside General Hospital, Isolo, Lagos.
Vision 2032 is a mandate of RCCG aims at growing the church to 40 million members by expanding through an explosive and expansive growth model.
This the church said will be achieved by establishing 400,000 units of 100 members each across Nigeria through parish planting, upgrading existing parishes, and utilizing mobile churches.
Speaking to Espinews, Pastor Steve Jaiyeoba, Lagos Province 14 Pastor in charge said the more of the people of the spirit that we have the more the society becomes better.
According to him, the Vision 2032 mandate is ensuring that there is nothing less than 40 million souls in the kingdom of God through RCCG and that involves everyone bringing in one person every month as the case may be.
“Aside populating the kingdom of God, it also ensures there is more of the people of the spirit of God in our society,” the cleric said
Asked why there was so much challenges in the country despite the heavy presence of different churches, he noted that but for the church the problems might have been worse.
“The fact that we have this kind of trouble in the multiplicity of churches all over the place confirm to me that if it had not been the church the problems would probably have been worse. That may not necessarily mean that the problem will reduce but an indication that the church is playing its role and as we play our role, I can assure you that even God himself will be pleased,” he said.
Continuing he said: “In this trying period, we must believe that our best ally is God. Yes, things are tough but I believe God will provide Goshen for His own, as many of us that are on God’s side, will be provided for”.
He therefore charged all who are yet to come to the knowledge of Christ to do so as therein lies hope of a better tomorrow.
