Tumblr, a micro-blogging site, is up for sale, as its owner, Verizon seeks new owners for the site.

Tumblr has had a tough time meeting revenue goals, according to The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news.

Yahoo purchased Tumblr for $1.1 billion in 2013. Yahoo was bought by Verizon for $4.5 billion in 2017.

Tumblr and the Yahoo sites are part of Verizon Media Group (formerly Oath), which also includes brands like HuffPost and TechCrunch.
