The Business Verge Awards returns with 2nd e- edition
The Business Verge Awards is set to return for its 2nd E-Edition, following the success of the maiden edition earlier in the year.
The event, according to organisers is aimed at celebrating Africa’s trailblazers in business and technology.
The event will take place in the first week of December 2025, bringing together founders, innovators, business leaders, and changemakers from across the continent.
The Business & Tech Excellence Awards recognizes individuals and organizations driving growth, innovation, and transformation across Africa’s economic and technological landscape.
Ten major categories will be featured in the awards according to the organising committee, they include, African Startup Business of the Year, Rising Founder of the Year, Business Leader of the Year and People’s Choice Award.
Nominations are currently open to entrepreneurs, founders, business leaders, and innovators who have been operating for at least one year and have an active social media presence.
Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are also open to brands and organizations looking to align with one of Africa’s most vibrant celebrations of excellence, the committee says.
The maiden edition was held in January 2025. It honored exceptional players across multiple sectors, setting a new standard for recognizing African excellence.
