Pentecostals don’t like to talk about death – PFN president

National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and General Superintendent of Gospel Light International Ministries popularly known as New Covenant Gospel Church, Rev. (DR) Felix Omobude, has said that Pentecostals don’t like to talk about the world death, yet it is an inevitable end.
The cleric made the assertion in a service of songs organised for the late Reverend Dr. Moses Iloh on Thursday, in Ikeja, Lagos.
The late reverend Iloh had died September 16, 2018, after a brief illness, at aged 88. Until his death, he was the Presiding Steward of Soul Winning Chapel, Yaba.
Speaking at the ceremony, Omobude stated that, irrespective of the name it is called, it signifies the end of a soul.
“Pentecostals do not like to talk about the word death. Weather sleep, transition or whatever name it is called, it is an inevitable end that will happen to everyone.
“But the good news is that as Christians we have hope, which is what sees the bright day beyond the dark night,” he said adding that hope is what propels a man on earth.
He noted that one day we will all breathe our last irrespective of our status, and urged everyone to choose which camp they belong, either the hopeful or the hopeless.
