Nigerian husband, father appeals for ₦60m kidney transplant support
Samuel Tosin Ilori, a loving husband, father of two and hardworking professional is currently battling kidney failure and is in dire need of ₦60 million for transplant.
His family, in a desperate appeal for financial support seeks public assistance to give Tosin a second chance at life as they seek to raise the funds to cover the cost of the kidney transplant, medications, hospital bills, travel and accommodation, as well as other related expenses.
Tosin, who has been receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease associated with hypertension.
According to medical verification issued by the hospital, Tosin is a known patient of the Nephrology Unit and is currently receiving special medications and supportive therapies. The hospital has also confirmed that he is a candidate for kidney transplantation, with the cost of dialysis, pre-transplant evaluation, surgery and post-transplant medication described as substantial.
The family is appealing to individuals, corporate organizations, faith-based groups, government agencies, philanthropists and the general public to support the fundraising campaign.
