Nestoil tower to undergo renovation
Nestoil’s flagship Head office on Akin Adesola street, Victoria Island which has become the signature feature of the Victoria Island skyline, will soon undergo renovation work on its exterior façade.
Julius Berger Nigeria (JBN) Plc, which constructed the edifice says the decision is to maintain high quality standards for which the company is known.
The renovation work will entail the replacement of the Alucobond material that was used for cladding the building. The structural integrity of the building remains intact. Work is expected to begin in mid-February and will take about 5 months to be completed.
The Nestoil Tower is a fifteen-floor mixed-use development designed by leading architects, Adeniyi Coker Consultants Limited (ACCL), and built by the premier engineering construction company, Julius Berger Nigeria (JBN) Plc. The Tower was completed in 2015 and JBN has continued to provide Facility Management services in the Tower to date.
The Nestoil Tower is the first green high-rise building in West Africa to attain a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification silver award.
The management of Nestoil says it will ensure that the renovation work is done at zero threat to its occupants, the public and the environment. Occupants and visitors will be able to access the building easily and safely during the exercise.
