Pharmaceutical giant, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare has said that its goal is to be the leading pharmaceutical company in Nigeria.

The company made the statement at the unveiling of IBEX ecopack last Thursday in Ikeja, Lagos.

Country Chair, Sanofi Nigeria-Ghana, Abderrahmane Chakibi, said Sanofi stand for quality healthcare that is why it is the leading pharmaceutical company in Africa, representing 10 percent of the continent’s market share.

“Our goal is to be Nigeria’s leading pharmaceutical company by ensuring that healthcare is brought closer to Nigerians,” Chakibi said.

He noted that Sanofi has been around for many years bringing quality healthcare to patients.

Also speaking at the launch, Yaw Agyarko, Head, Consumer Healthcare Business Unit, Sanofi Nigeria-Ghana, said Sanofi’s concern about patients necessitated the launch of IBEX ecopack.

“People in Nigeria are eager and active which sometimes take a toll on their body, IBEX can help in restoring the health condition.

“Being the biggest in Africa, why cant we be the biggest in Nigeria,” he asked.

IBEX ecopack comes in a small pack with the aim of reaching both the high and low income earners with the same high quality it is known.

The company said that the ecopack is not designed to replace the existing IBEX by 24 which is already in the market but to accommodate people of low income wage.
