El Kanemi Warriors lifts FA Cup trophy

El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri on Saturday emergedfresident Federation Cup champions after defeating Abia Warriors at the final held at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena ( Onikan).
The victory raise the newly promoted NPFL side title to three haven won two previous times in the past.
Nasiru Salihu scored a brace to hand the Maiduguri side the victory. His 31st minute strike and 65th minute playsealed the victory Elkanemi Warriors.
Technical Adviser of El Kanemi, Kabir Zuberu ascribed the victory to the talented young players he recruited.
For emerging champions, El Kanemi got N50 million while Abia Warriors got N20 million.
