Dr. Oko-Igiare, Adebayo to lead conversations in Colours of Well-being

Counselling and psychotherapy expert, Dr. Tolu Oko-Igiare will lead a host of other professionals from the media, business and health sector to the Colours of Well-being, a wellness event.
The event is aimed at providing professionals with the tools to combat workplace burnout and network for future financial freedom.
It is scheduled to hold at the Centre Point Tower, Ikoyi, Lagos, this Saturday, July 20, 2024 by 1pm.
Powered by Citisquare Africa, an innovative technology driven organisation, “Colours of Well-being”, promises to create an unforgettable experience for guests by offering a combination of relaxation, strategic networking, and investment opportunities for professionals and high networth individuals across various sectors in the work place experiencing or at risk of burnout, with a focus on women.
The theme for the event is “The Impact of Burnout on Women Within the Workforce: Challenges and Solution”.
According to report, since the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, no scourge has affected the human population like burnout, a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress.
A report credited to Deloitte says, 77% of the global working population were affected by burnout in 2022. And with Africa’s decent job rate and economic growth estimated to weaken to 3.8% in 2023 from 4.1% in 2022, the continent is likely to be the worst hit of the burnout scourge.
With this event, Citisquare says it hopes to correct the trend by helping participants to prioritise their wellbeing.
Dr. Oko-Igiare, President, the Association for Counselling, Matchmaking & Psychotherapy of Nigeria (ACMPN) will deliver the keynote address, paving the way for a group of professionals to deepen conversation in a panel session.

As part of the event feature, guests will be treated to an exquisite 3- course meal, after party and dance that comprises Salsa and Karaoke.
Famous comedian, Kenny Blaq will add colour to the atmosphere with his ribs-cracking comedy.
Organiser noted that, attendance means supporting a greater cause, specifically aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 5 – Gender Equality.
