CVA 2024 voting closes June 30 as consumers engage in last minute rush
Consumers show their loyalty for their preferred Brands in the ongoing voting for brands based on market experiences that is scheduled to close on June 30 2024. In over 40 categories listed based on consumers nomination, Brands are contending for the top spots based on consumer preference.
The ongoing voting process is transparent and can be seen by anyone as the data is available on the consumer value awards website. In the telecommunication category (MNOS), MTN takes the top spot having 46% of consumers vote in the category, Spectranet leads the Internet Service Provider Category with 80% of votes.
In the Table Water Category, CWay overtakes Eva water who was the leading brand in the last month with Cway now having 37% of the vote in the category. This shows how competitive the voting is. Some other brands have also moved up to be in the top spot in their categories, brands like fearless with 55% of vote in the Energy Drink category, Reload Multivitamin with 64% of vote in Multivitamin Infant category, cowbell with 55% vote in the Milk Skimmed Powdered category.
Other leading brands on the voting platform of consumer value awards based on consumers preference in the second month include; Always 50% vote in Sanitary Pad category, in the Telecommunication (MNOS) Data category, MTN leads with 44%, Ice Cream category, Just Delight with 37%.
Detergent/ Bar Soap, Viva 33%, Home Appliances Television, Samsung 47%, Home Appliances Refrigerator, Haier Thermocool leads with 52%, Air Conditioner, Lontor 38%, Home Appliances Washing Machine, Haier Thermocool 50%, Alcoholic Beverage, Trophy leading with 41% of the votes, Carbonated Drinks, Pepsi 64%, cooking Vegetable oil, both Power oil and King oil are leading in the category, Toothpaste Regular, Colgate 30%, Toothpaste Herbal, Dabur leads with 61% votes, Sugar, Dangote Sugar with 61% vote, Cement, Lafarge (Elephant) with 54%.
In Insurance, Leadway 55%, Malt Drink, Maltina and Malta Guinness have 28% votes each, Bathing soap, Dettol with 40% votes, Milk Full Cream, Peak milk with 69% of the Votes in the category, Pasta, Golden Penny Spaghetti 77%, Noodles, Indomie 88%, Custard, Checkers 88%, Banks, Gtbank and Access Bank with 44% each, Virtual Banks, Opay 58%.
Cadbury 60%, Dish Washing Liquid, Morning Fresh 54% in the Consumer Friendly Organizations while in the Sausage Roll, Gala 92%, Chocolate Malt Beverage, Bournvita 57%, Seasoning Cube, Knorr 63%, Tea Bag, Lipton 87%, Petroleum Jelly, Vaseline 75%, Mattress, Vitafoam 50%, Stout Beer (Dark Beer), Guinness 75%, Engine Lube International, Mobil XHP 100%, Engine Lube local, Oleum oil 85%, Breakfast Cereal, Golden Morn and Nasco Cornflakes 38% each, Toilet Cleaner, Hypo with 55%, Multivitamin Kids, Reload, 86%, Multivitamin Adults, Reload 91%, Sport Betting, Bet 9ja 50%.
Akonte Ekine, Chief Executive Officer BrandXchange and Convener Consumers Value awards said the consumers are validating brand promises and it is a reward for promise kept hence the badge of honour from the Consumers which shows brand appreciation and a call to brand to wake up to the challenges of the economy and innovate to attend to the rising cost of living.
He commended the consumers for participating in the vote and call on more consumers to vote for brands as the closing date of June 30, is fast drawing near.
