AFCON: NASS principal officers, committee members to watch Super Eagles live
Ahead of the crucial quarter finals clash between the Super Eagles and the Palancas Negras of Angola, the principal officers of the National Assembly will visit Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire to cheer the Nigerian team to victory at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Kawu Sumaila, made this known while briefing newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja.
The Super Eagles defeated the indomitable lions of Cameroon during the round of 16 to qualify for the quarter finals at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
