Time to preach to the preachers- Rev Dr. Iloh

Senior pastor of Soul Winning Ministries, Reverend Dr. Moses Iloh has said that despite the proliferation of churches in Nigeria, the country is not feeling the impact because the church has deviated from its natural call to other activities.
He attributed the reason to the flamboyance being displayed by many ministers of God and called for the preachers to be preached to if they are still interested in making heaven after their sojourn on earth.
Rev. Iloh who was 88 in February made the statement in an interview with Espi News on Wednesday in his Yaba Church office, in reaction to a social media post rating countries with fewer church presence high as against countries especially Nigeria, with huge church presence, low in economic development.
“God is not interested in the beautiful cathedral that the churches of today are engaging in, He is interested in building the cathedral in the lives of human beings,” Iloh said.
“It is sad what we are witnessing in the church today. But, what gives me joy is that the lord said when he comes, judgement will start from His house- the church.
“Christianity is life and not a religion. There is therefore the need for true repentance and for the preaching of the word of God. We better begin to preach to the preachers and to check ourselves continually,” the cleric averred.
