NIPR, Kaduna govt to host Nigeria Public Relations Week 2026, begins April 19

The 2026 Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW)  will hold in Kaduna from April 19 to 25, 2026.

In partnership with the Kaduna State Government, the week-long event, is themed: “Nigeria’s Food Security: From Public Policy to Public Plates – The Imperatives of Public Relations,” will explore how public relations can address national challenges, from food security to policy communication and crisis management..

As part of the wider programme of the NPRW, tagged CROC CITY 2026, the event will be preceded by a webinar, themed “Crisis Communication in Agricultural Value Chains: Managing Scarcity, Inflation, and Public Anxiety,” scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, by 11am.

Participants will gain practical insights on managing public expectations during times of scarcity, rising prices, and public anxiety within the agricultural sector, while exploring strategies for effective crisis communication and stakeholder engagement.

Key speakers for the webinar include Dr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, President of NIPR, with Chief Yomi Badejo Okusanya (YBO) fnipr hosting and Chief Ify Onyegbule moderating and Abdulsamad Isah, Co-founder and COO of Extension Africa, will also share his expertise.
