
4th Cycling Lagos rescheduled to June 28, gets Samsung, SuperSport backing
The 4th edition of Cycling Lagos, has been rescheduled to hold Saturday, June 28th, 2025, even as top brands including Samsung, SuperSport, Leadway Assurance and others have confirmed their support for the event.
The 2025 edition, proudly sponsored by Samsung, also enjoys the support of Nestlé Nigeria Plc, Evans Baroque, Mountains Energy Solution the Lagos State Sports Commission, and the Lagos State Cycling Association.
Bamidele Adeleye, Managing Director of BrandEscort Communications and Convener of the event, promised a bigger and better Cycling Lagos, noting that this year’s edition will receive special coverage from media partner SuperSport (DStv), alongside other top national media platforms.
Adeleye explained that the shift in date was necessary to avoid a clash with the National Sports Festival, a major multi-sport event currently holding in Ogun State, and expected to end May 30, 2025.
Themed, “Sustainable Energy,” it is aimed at encouraging individuals, businesses, state governments, and the nation as a whole to develop a sustainable energy strategy that is realistic, locally grounded, and focused on long-term resilience.
