Smart Treasure set to partner Ondo monarchs for agric purpose
A partnership discussion that will ensure the availability of food from farm proceed in Akure, the Ondo State capital has been initiated by Smart Treasure Team. This project is aimed at making food available to the people of Ondo State and beyond.
Regional Head, ST Team, Trust Otorudo led a delegate of staff to the state to visit some traditional rulers in Akure, Ondo State, on March 19, 2025. Some of the people visited were the Deji of Akure who is a first-class king, HRH Ọbá Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, CFR, Kabiyesi Akinwumi Adekanbi 1 (The Olulero Okelero Itaoniyan ISIKAN) among others.
According to Otorudo, the reason for the visit was to have a partnership with him to make available some plots of lands in their various communities for the sole purpose of agriculture which the proceeds would be shared amongst his people for free.
‎Though, the discussion is ongoing, Trust believes that the partnership deal will be sealed considering the major beneficiaries of the project are the indigenes.
Trust noted that, the seedlings and manpower would be provided by the ST Team while a greater percentage of the proceeds would be shared amongst the indigens for free while the lesser percentage would be channeled into the administrative running of the ST Team.
To demonstrate good faith, the team distributed some food items to some widows in the community in addition to donating educational materials including exercise books and pencils among the pupils in the 3 different communities.
‎
In reaction to the good gestures, the hosts urged ST Team to continue the goodwill as this is the kind of thing fosters unity in any community while also giving their kingly blessings.
