Airtel Nigeria wins two awards at Marketing EDGE 2026
Airtel Nigeria has received two major honours at the 2026 Marketing EDGE Awards, receiving the Leadership Award in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Most Innovative Telecom Operator of the Year.
The awards were presented at the 14th edition of the Marketing EDGE Awards, held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Ten Degrees Event Centre, Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos. The annual awards recognise brands, organisations and professionals for excellence, innovation and contributions to Nigeria’s marketing communications and wider business landscape.
The two recognitions reflect different but complementary aspects of Airtel Nigeria’s operations, from its investments in connectivity and technology to its initiatives focused on education, digital inclusion and community development.
The CSR Leadership Award recognises Airtel Nigeria’s continued investment in initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for young people and supporting communities. While, The second recognition, Most Innovative Telecom Operator of the Year, highlights Airtel Nigeria’s continued expansion of its network, products and services as connectivity becomes increasingly central to how Nigerians work, learn, communicate and access services.
According to Dinesh Balsingh, CEO of Airtel Nigeria, the expansion complements the company’s investments in network capacity and technology.
“Quality of service extends across the entire customer journey. It includes the strength and reliability of the network, the quality of our products and the ease with which customers can access support. These premium experience centres bring those elements together in a more convenient environment and give our customers a better way to engage with Airtel,” Balsingh said.
The Marketing EDGE recognitions come as Nigeria’s digital economy continues to evolve, with connectivity playing an increasingly important role in education, business, financial services, entertainment and everyday communication.
For Airtel Nigeria, the awards bring together two areas of its work which are the development of connectivity and digital solutions that respond to the needs of a changing economy, and investments in programmes that extend the benefits of technology and related opportunities to more people and communities.
