ACAMB marks three decades of reputation management
The Association of Corporate Communication and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB), will be celebrating 30 years of reputation management in September, 2026.
ACAMB which recently refreshed its brand, is an umbrella body that comprises corporate communication and marketing professionals in the banking sector.
The event will coincide with the association’s Annual General Meeting and other programmes, as part of a broader agenda to recognize its role in shaping the image and reputation of the Nigerian financial services industry.
Report says leadership of the association will be aiming at a renewed focus on customer experience, youth engagement, professional development, and industry advocacy among others as part of its target for the celebration.
Founded in 1996, ACAMB was established as a platform for corporate affairs managers of banks, with the core objective of tackling negative perceptions, restoring public confidence, and strengthening the sector’s reputation both locally and beyond.
The association later metamorphosed, accommodating marketing communications professionals in banks.
Over the past 30 years, the association has become the recognized voice of corporate affairs managers and marketing professionals in Nigerian banks, influencing how institutions communicate with customers, regulators, and the wider public.
