Corporate Institute of Strategic Research to host 2-day research and strategy summit in Abuja
The Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR) is set to host its 2-Day Annual Research & Strategy Summit and Annual General Meeting (AGM) from Thursday, December 11 to Wednesday 12, 2025 at Benysta Hotel, Tai Solarin Street, Off 5th Avenue, Gwarimpa, FCT, Abuja.
This year’s summit with the theme: “Evidence-Driven Governance: From Data and Research to National Transformation,” is focussed on deepening national conversations on how data, research intelligence, analytics, and emerging technologies can enhance decision-making and strengthen Nigeria’s governance structures.
CISR says the summit will also focus on research, leadership, and national development.
According to the Institute, the 2025 summit will feature high-level discussions on: Community-based research for socio-economic transformation; Strategic leadership and institutional strengthening; Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) frameworks for development;
Policy development anchored on research evidence; The role of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in the future of governance; Data analytics for public sector innovation and service delivery.
The summit also includes CISR’s AGM, a leadership summit, research paper presentations, awards and recognition ceremonies, and induction/investiture of new members.
A rich lineup of speakers and panelists have confirmed their participation at the event. They include, Amb. Dr. Saad Umar Farouk, Mrs. Tina Titus, Dr. Prince Ugbe, Dr. Kenny Adenugba, Dr. Johnson Imatti, Dr. Obajide Ilugbo, Dr. Ahmed Wada Ikaka, Dr. Olukemi Akinmusire, Dr. Aderemi Apatira, Prof. Maryam Usman, Dr. Aliyu A. Usman, and Dr. Napoleon Usman.
CISR noted that the presence of experts from diverse fields will enable participants to explore practical approaches for governance reform and national transformation.
