Cambridge International qualifications rise by 14% in Nigeria

The 2018/2019 Cambridge International qualifications has experienced a 14% growth in popularity in Nigeria and 4% internationally, report has said.
The institution recently released the results of its June 2019 exam series to thousands of schools. The number of schools now teaching Cambridge International programmes has grown by 6% internationally this year and by 10% in Nigeria, which now has more than 360 schools located across the country.
There has also been a 6% increase in the number of students taking Cambridge exams internationally and a 12% increase in the number of students taking Cambridge exams in Nigeria.
In Nigeria there has been a significant increase in IGCSE and AS & A Level this year, with more than 22 000 entries, an increase of 14% on last year.
The number of entries for Cambridge International AS & A Level qualifications has grown by 7% globally this year.
